Obviously, as I have previously eluded to there are less difficult games. Thanks for highlighting.

No problem. 5-0, 8-2 and 7-1 qualify as 'easy' not 'less difficult' games - which means the fact of the matter is that when you reach the last 8 of a competition there are easy games.

Thanks again for making the various points. Without looking into each of the games you have so kindly highlighted might there have been some extraordinary reason such as a sending off. I'm sure you'll let me know.

Don't want to be a smug twat but twice now people have said after a bad run of form we should "play the kids" and basically forfeit cup games. Now after two morale-boosting victories in round 4 and 5 it seems everyone wants to take this seriously

What's the gain in doing so? Those that said that were saying so with good intentions, we're now one good draw and result away from a trip to Wembley.

Indeed, there was no extraordinary reason. The fact of the matter is that when you reach the last 8 of a competition there are easy games.

Further evidence from the competition we are discussing, from only last year - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/live/football/64908738 - The fact of the matter is that when you reach the last 8 of a competition there are easy games.

I am indebted to you for all you hard work and persistence, thank you. Let's hope we get one or at least a less difficult one!!

Its not about forfeiting the cup games but given our lead at the top has been cut, our priority is and always has been, getting promoted. Imagine we'd played KDH, Winks, Mavididi for 120 minutes last night. Would make our game against QPR a lot more difficult. Nobody actively wants us to lose and I think everyone wants a cup run but as i said before, promotion is priority. I have full faith and trust in Enzos team selections and his ability to manage our players game time appropriately

Why would it not be great to go up there and beat them?

Let's not get carried away.

Let's work off % shall we.

At Bournemouth we had a roughly 60% chance we would win and a 40% chance we would win after the team sheet was published.

Man City would be a 8% chance we could win however the reality is Man City would have a 100% chance they would win.

Best route is the easy route and if we get to the final then it could be taken very seriously

Bournemouth were the favourites to win by a long shot before the team sheets were published
