Distribution out from the back isn’t what it was. I’m hoping it’s just Vestergaard missing, but it’s not been as slick as it was for a while now I think.

Vestergaard is a massive loss.

Why does us scoring drain us of all confidence?

It doesn’t, we just try and consolidate and it alters the patterns of play. The opposition also adjust.

Was just going to say this.  Go back a year, I would never have imagined making that statement, except as sarcasm.

I think it’s more Ricardo we miss.

And obviously Ndidi’s recoveries.

All three are integral to how we play ultimately. The challenge is that the backup players aren’t at the same level.

I don’t get us. We play short passing and score which shiuld mean the opposition needs to come at us and therefore suit our short passing and moving style but then we start whacking the ball long all the time??!! Don’t make sense

Once we score it feels like we lose all interest on scoring any more goals.

Once we beat Sunderlands press we should be desperate to move the ball forwards quickly. Instead we look really lethargic.
