Harrogatefox Posted 29 March Share Posted 29 March A slow, listless and inept performance so far. Only positive is we’re not 2 or 3 down. This isn’t a team fighting for promotion which is incredible to see given we were the pace setters for much of the season. A strange malaise has set in, must be events off the field taking its toll. 🤞they come out fighting 2nd half and show us that they mean business! Hunger and desire required!

Popular Post Tuna Posted 29 March Popular Post Share Posted 29 March (edited) For me we absolutely need Ricardo back, that's obvious. We lack leadership, Coady should be playing but Enzo's misuse of him is baffling. I'd hoped we'd have a siege mentality and come out flying. Nothing has changed from QPR. Quality may get us through in the end but Ipswich and Leeds will be licking their lips at this. Edited 29 March by Tuna

And which players are you switching? Of the bench there's only a nearly fit Ricardo for Hamza and Coady for Faes that I'd change. Are you going to say that at the end of the season if this form continues? hang on to the fact that we had a massive points lead so the tactics clearly work, because the other way to look it, is the points lead we had has clearly been surrendered since. Either we’ve been found out or the players have lost focus. Been hugely found out. One plan Enzo team now being shown up for what it is, very easy to play through and even easier to stop, and that’s with so-called premier league players all over the pitch. Not a chance we go up on current form but god help us even if we do, could be pushing for Derby’s record.
sm1 Posted 29 March Share Posted 29 March We're so predictable, even Bristol are playing us off the park. It might be a good thing we dont get promoted. We'd get humiliated on a regular basis.
5waller5 Posted 29 March Share Posted 29 March Really difficult to not draw parallels with the Rodgers ends to seasons. We looked devoid of fitness, sharpness, ideas and attacking intent then too
hejammy Posted 29 March Share Posted 29 March Big second half this. Lose this and I'll be looking at next season with a transfer embargo and losing our "best" players. Really can't stress how important this second half is for the next few years of our club.

Popular Post Sunbury Fox Posted 29 March Popular Post Share Posted 29 March (edited) Because we never change anything about the way we play every team now has a blueprint to use against us. These, QPR and Boro have all gone 3 CBs with 2 CDMs in front of them to crowd the centre of the pitch, whilst doubling up on our wingers and then having pacy players up front to catch out our slow CBs. We can't even control possession any more, we just look like a bog standard Championship team, despite the names on the team sheet.
