Because it would mean admitting they were had to some degree by the idea King Power/Vichai/Aiyawatt are some shining knights that came here for philanthropy. 
There is a whole narrative around ‘the owners’ isn't there.

In fairness there's nowt wrong with taking your kids down to get the new kit,

 

I'm sure when I was 9/10 I'd have wanted to have it early too.... especially to wear on holiday

Don’t see the problem with that. And to call them sad acts is a tad harsh.

Yeah the logo has been enlarged. Just nothing kits with no character. Least of our problems though in fairness 😭 I’m dreading this season.

Quite proud of my 9 year old. Showed him the shirts.

A simple “foxes never quit” isn’t really worth that hype 😂😂

 

On the plus side, (no pun intended), these seem to be regular fit not skinny fit like last year

£70 is in the lesser bracket for kits....big 6 charge £85 and even Fulham and Forest charged £75 and £80 last season for Adidas kits.
