Kudos to the people of Preston though. Genuinely one of the friendliest away games I've ever been to. Had a couple of Preston fans wish me luck on the way, saying we deserve it etc. The town isn't all that bad either, some real good eating places!

Only got to see the 20 min highlights of this match due to being in transit to UK, first match I haven’t watch live this season.

 

Looked a completely dominant performance from start to finish. Not sure what young Kasey did to earn all the disparaging comments apart from the headed miss, and made up for it later with the goal, plus an assist wasn’t it?

 

We’ve got to try to persuade Vardy to sign for another year. He’s still looking hungry and would be a great influence in what could be a difficult first season up. If we can’t sign Ndidi, I’d seriously give Faes a try in that role, and play Coady at the back.

 

Anyway, all’s well that ends well, and the 10 match horror run seems to be well in the rear view mirror now. I’m starting to look forward to next season.

Great result. Great night, best atmosphere.  But the people of Preston should get a mention too ....one of the friendliest places I've visited as a football supporter. From the pub staff, shop assistants, stewards, fans in the street shaking our hands to the supporter on here.... All welcomed us and just seemed nice people. Champions again ole ole!!
