So they will keep their best players or sell and then buy the best players for that level?

Not sure but still think they will be strong enough.

Because the rest of the league is very average.

Southampton are changing the away end from next season.Where the away fans are now will all be home fans.

Has anyone ever mentioned the possibility of us doing that?

If only he had experience of beating them in the league...

Didn’t we beat Swindon twice, then lost to them in the Playoff final?

They're the worst semi finals in playoffs history. Absolutely awful.

Yes, dull then one sided. Went completely to previous results and no jeopardy.

We definitely beat them twice.

Yes, correct we did. But his actual words were "they went to Leicester" so he was referring solely to the home fixture.

Is this the kiss of death for WBA?

“The best team of the four in the play-offs is West Brom," says Lawrenson. "They went to Leicester and absolutely mullered them so I'm going for a real outsider and I think West Brom might nick it [promotion].

They’re the best team in the playoffs but they’re outsiders. Make it make sense lol

Norwich sacking Wagner is right based on the tactics and the flair players they have who he completely inhibited.

West Brom sacking Corberan would be stupid, their squad is a lot more limited and if anything they massively overachieved. With weaker sides coming down, they'd be mad not to give him another year to build.

If we lose KDH and Southampton dont go up, Smallbone looks to have potential.

From my occasional look on SaintsWeb, he seems to……divide opinion.

Been rubbish most of the times I’ve watched him. Took his goal well but WBA decided to not press Southampton yesterday. Wouldn’t judge him on that goal yesterday.

Ironically nothing to do with the goal, but rather he is similar style to KDH.

West Brom rightfully sack there manager, what a pussy, bottled it.

Hope not or they might try and tempt Enzo as he has played for them in the past😃

I think you’re missing the point mate.

How teams choose to set-up is all a mentality thing.

There is no reason why Norwich couldn’t have seen today’s game as ‘their’ final.

They could have planned to win the game by getting forward, creating chances and trying to fashion a situation that put Leeds under real pressure to play well at Elland Road.

Instead, they chose to play defensively, to play safe, in the hope of probably nicking a 1-0 in the return fixture.

It’s incredibly negative thinking. And if Leeds now turn up on Thursday and win convincingly (THEY will now be massively bouyed by the home support!), Norwich will leave thinking that they didn’t even have a real go at home.

Playing safe is a choice. Norwich clearly decided that’s how they’ll go.

Re Southgate, this isn’t his job, it’s his personality. He seems an incredibly ‘safe’ person. I

imagine he’s navigated his way through life, according to a blue-print and is overjoyed that it’s come to fruition.

Possibly the best example of this is the Euro final v Italy. We were playing well in that tournament, the country was up for it and it was at Wembley. We even went in front and he STILL set us up not to concede, rather than to go and score again to finish the job!

Its mentality and it pervades contemporary football.

Hmmm and it cost him his job…
