Champions Season Review DVD?

Recommended Posts

Of course we have seen the decline of Season Review DVD's across the whole of the football community. The last season review dvd the foxes to release was of the 2015-16 premier league champions. Just wondering the chances of a dvd being released of this season. Good or bad the season I always used to the season review, follow the journey and enjoyed the interview in-between the club announcements throughout that season.

Out of curiosity if say next month the club released 1hr 45 minute which included the city centre champions parade would you buy for say £15? or do you think season reviews are pointless and belong in the past.

Probably stopped them due to rights issues, who owns what etc.,

Ah yes a UHD compilation of tippy tappy sideways passing for 2 hours, can’t wait! Seriously though I too like a good old collection of physical media and it’s such a shame we can’t have them these days. Even in a rubbish season there’s always good highlights and lack of this is probably why I can’t remember much of our football between 2001-2011!

I'd normally say yes but no.

I don't trust the club to do a good job. They'll butcher it.

The Premier League one was horrific.

I remember the premier league season winning dvd, was sold out at leicester city club shop by 2pm on the day of its release. I remember speaking to someone who used to work in the club shop claimed the club had originally only ordered 200 copies not expecting the demand for dvd's to be so high. By midday the club put further order of 10,000 copies lol

An ITV studios bit of stock music, Gary Newbon rhetorically asking if this sleeping giant can return to the glory days of O'Neill, fans thinking Levein is the new O'Neill because he also wears glasses.

No I don't miss them actually. Glad we have YouTube.

I've got shite loads of City dvds and videos, including all of our games from match of the day from the 2014/15 and 2015/16 seasons.

The various news programmes that celebrated our Premier League season, and all of our Champions league games.

Plus Play Off games, and loads of other various games over the years.

Have a fair few Videos and DVDs that the club produced too of course.

That's why I still have a VHS/DVD player.

Not all the stuff I've got is on You Tube, so still need the player to play them on the occasional times that I might want to reminisce and watch them again.

I got the dvd from 2004-05 season, watched it a few months back... my god times were bad. Club getting exciting about signing a 39 year old Martin Keown was the biggest signing of the summer

I was being facetious.

Most my childhood was spent watching that shit. It's why I pay a man with a monocle to listen to me as I lay on a leather couch now.

Want to try a VHS classic with Mark Maghee as manager hosted by Neville Foulger. Actually played some nice stuff until he left under a cloud. The rest as you know is history when Mr O Neil arrived.

Needles to say I haven't owned it or had the means to play it for 20 years.

It's mad how we assumed that summer we were stronger than the 02/03 team (which was widely predicted to not come straight back up). We literally signed a retirement home.

David Connolly was a good signing and much better than most of the dross they signed that summer. Joey Gudjonsson did alright too.

Could not stand the likes of Wilcox, Gemmill, Tiatto, Pressman, Makin, Keown and especially Dublin.

I have absolutely no doubt some users on here still have a VHS Player in their living rooms

Of course... why throw out a 90s porn stash.

(There's a shop in hinckley that will convert stuff to dvd... apparently)
