I have absolutely no doubt some users on here still have a VHS Player in their living rooms

Of course... why throw out a 90s porn stash.

(There's a shop in hinckley that will convert stuff to dvd... apparently)

It's mad how we assumed that summer we were stronger than the 02/03 team (which was widely predicted to not come straight back up). We literally signed a retirement home.

In the dvd micky adams spoke about how he thought the experience was key to get leicester back up 🫣

Team for sure missed players like Izzett and Dickov. It was pretty much a dads army squad for 04/05.

Leivin came and thought it was good idea to sign players from Scotland...some or most were tragic.

His only best buy was Matty Fryatt from Walsall. Though it took at least Matty a year to settle in.

Tbh they were never the same after VSI days. Carlton's efforts were terrible (their last, 02/03, was probably the best), and by the time we got to the PDI era it was terribly dubbed commentary and awful generic music.

As mentioned in the thread the club-run versions were similarly guff, capped off by having absolutely zero context to the title race. It's why I ended up being a saddo and producing my own reviews until last season.

Was this the only thing that was made when we won the Prem?

It's really poor. Was hoping they'd make another one with interviews and loads of extra footage.

It just shows the goals from each game and then ends. One of the greatest achievements in footballing history. So much more could have been included.

Interesting idea for the club, i reckon if they can convert the VHS footage from season reviews from the early 00's and 90's then sell them on dvd I think they would sell. Sometimes it is nice to look back at say our first season at the Walkers or watching a full season under MON once again. I know many will say just watch youtube. But the VHS tapes tended to include the interviews and full journey.

Yep I would buy it. I bought all the season ones and play off / League Cup finals from the days of VHS through to DVD, traditionally it would be an extra Christmas present and I'd watch it Boxing Day morning whilst guzzling a tube of Smarties down in one, filled with excitement and optimism at so many goals in 60-70 minutes before going out to sit in the cold and watch the current crop lose 1-0 at home to Bournemouth !  Such happy memories
