KTFC first match of the season and first loss of the season - but at least the first half wasn't awful and the second was very positive. If we sign a striker who can score we could really compete this season.

*sits back and waits for the tenth successive defeat lol

Went to Grantham v Walsall Wood, a 2-2 draw, probably a fair result. We played some good stuff against a much fancied team and matched them for most of the game, Wood are full of step 3 players and got a 97th minute equalizer. They had Richard Gregory on the bench and we had a lad from our youth team who was with Holwell Sports last season!

A bizarre statement has come out from Wood this morning full of grammatical errors, their FA Cup replay v Worcester was abandoned after floodlight failure, it's not a good look spending hugely (allegedly) on recruiting players and then your floodlights fail on game 1!

Ian Long has got in there and been showing his nasty side off.

Can't believe so many decent footballers have followed him there. The set-up is awful. The pitch one of the worst at Step 4.

He was very ungracious in his post match interview, complaining about the pitch, the running track, thought they deserved to win and gave us no credit at all.

Wouldn't be surprised if there is a mid season budget cut and mass departures.

Boro playing away to Sutton United tonight.... not that one. Sutton United in Sutton Coldfield, its interesting to think two clubs with the same name. Weve played the London Sutton United back in 1999 but never this team.

There were two Ashford Town’s for a long time.

Although I see it took a last minute equaliser for Nuneaton to get a draw tonight

4-0

Four bloody nil.

Total Golden Gordon feelings tonight. We were all kinds of awesome.

Fantastic last night. Great crowd and atmosphere too!

I feel a lot of optimism this season, compared to the last two seasons of dross. 10 new signings but the squad has massively upgraded. It's nice to see a quality squad for once and one that actually fights for every 50-50. The no.11 Wilson is amazing. Lloyd Dyer-esque pace! Hopefully we can kick on from here.

Wes is deceptive because he looks about 38 :D

You don't appreciate how quick he is until you see him consistently go past players on the outside. Work ethic is great and has the ability to go with it. A right hand side of him and Harty is a manager's dream.

Enjoyed watching the Rushall highlights and seeing Whitey is as sh*t as ever lol

I have a lot of respect for what Stevo has done with Coalville, but his judgement of players is absolutely baffling at times.

Just chalk and cheese from recent times. I can see why Lavs was annoyed at not winning on Saturday now. Roll on Saturday.

I know such a huge comparison in the quality of players. I'm aiming to get down for the Bank Holiday game Vs Harborough!

Hinckley AFC continue in the FA Cup tonight, step 4 Malvern Town at home which will be a really solid test, fingers crossed a decent result and back in the hat!

He signed Liam McAlinden (striker/winger) the day before and put him straight in at defensive midfield

First home Saturday of the season, wife is driving, new ales on the bar, sun is blazing, everyone is smiling, and we've a pizza-pasta van for the season.

This is football.
