Palermo are using Man City's training setup - both owned by the City Group.

They are playing Oxford the week after. (another Man City link)

Gotcha! Maybe it's us using Chesterfiled because they're doing some work at the KP then.

Tell you what, is there anything more annoying than "Ticketing will be announced in due course"

It's a week and a bit away guys... couldn't you have just done both at the same time lol

Maybe we'll get another great find from Chesterfield...We bought Gordon Banks from them for £7,000 in July 1959.

Geez, I remember it well, and that's 65 years ago, if only my short term memory performed as well.

Good town for a drink.

Very underrated. Not just saying it as I live here, but unbelievable. First time my mates visited they couldn't believe it.

Went Chesterfield that time when we played some random 11 whilst the first team were playing Barcelona the day after. Hopefully play a stronger team this time lol

Me too and about 50 city fans as I recall. Very underwhelming.

I'll never forget being stood in the car park in Ilkeston and not a single first team player got off the coach. We were told they'd at least play a few. Even radio Leicester bothered to turn up. Then I nearly choked on my burger at half time. Wasn't a great day if im honest.

And it ended 0-0

Leicester “have boots will travel” City.

Sacked off the US tour at the behest of Maresca - having clearly not consulted him on the plan before signing up - only to then lose Maresca a week later.

It’s led to us travelling to France and Germany to play anyone who will have us and now a random game in Chesterfield. It’s a make it up as you go along pre-season schedule.

Second summer in a row the man in charge of the first team has to contend with an off-pitch operation blundering their way through things.

Still annoys me that we haven't got a home friendly. Loads of kids don't get the chance to go to games and we're pissing about in Chesterfield.

No thought whatsoever for the future generation of fans as usual.

I’m all for bashing the useless twats but…

- We always go to Evian

- it’s quite common to play friendlies on neutral grounds now (loads of clubs did it last season)

- We actually seem to have a really decent variety of opposition to play…

Yeah I don't see the issue. The Chesterfield thing is a bit odd but much rather 'local' than jetting off to US regardless who the boss is.
