Pre-Season Schedule Summer 2024

Hopefully Lens means we've binned off playing a 'glamour' friendly.

I find it galling we've for years now paid (PAID! FFS) some D list team who aren't nearly as good or as famous as us - plus with the added spice of us losing a key player to a snapped leg

When does your season start ?

I always like to pretend Spurs don't exist lol

I reckon we might squeeze in a mid week home friendly though, or even the week before.

Racing knows its last opponent before the competition resumes! While the Sang et Or will face Bayer 04 Leverkusen on August 3 at 4 p.m.  at the Bollaert-Delelis stadium, they will conclude their summer preparation program with the reception of Leicester City FC, freshly promoted to the Premier League, a week later (August 10). at 16 o'clock).

Ticketing information for this meeting will be communicated at a later date.

A SERIOUS OPPONENT
Winner of 7 major trophies on the national scene during its history, Leicester City FC is a team that counts in the United Kingdom. Champion of England in 2016 to everyone's surprise ahead of behemoths of English football like Arsenal and Manchester City, the club then established itself as one of the most consistent teams in the Premier League, even settling in 5th place in two consecutive seasons. His performances and consistency have allowed him to sample the various European competitions in recent years.

Qualified for the group stage of the Champions League in 2016/17, the Foxes then validated their ticket to the Europa League twice. Returned to the Conference League during their last participation (2021/22), they reached the last four before being beaten by a short header by Roma, future winner of the competition.

Residents of the EFL Championship during the 2023/24 financial year, the teammates of English international Jamie Vardy (26 caps, 7 goals) dominated the antechamber of the Premier League. Crowned champions (97 points), they will make their return to the British elite for the 2024/25 campaign. An opponent renowned across the Channel for the quality and intensity of its matches, Leicester will therefore act as a serious opponent for Will Still's men, just one week before the first day of the championship.

Things to do in Amiens | Hauts-de-France Tourism – Official Website

My daughter worked in Amiens approx 20 years ago, went to an Amiens league match there with some other British workers and a French lad. It was OK until they got to the ground and they let the Brits in but wouldn't let the French lad in as apparently he was serving a ban and was banned from all grounds in France.
