Well his goal scoring record for Australia is pretty impressive, if we get a manager who can utilise that then he might just be the difference in a relegation fight.

Ima Andriatsima has scored 41 goals for Madagascar, maybe we should sign him to lead our charge up the premier league!

"I just have to wait to see what the club does and who comes in and then to try to impress the new manager that comes in. When I get back for pre-season, we'll probably have a sit down after a few weeks and have a chat and see where we're at.“

Yes, saw something similar and in fairness he seems to maintain a decent attitude bearing in mind he was frozen out last season.

I've said it before about him but in our situation can we really afford to just let players like him rot? We cannot keep making signings who don't fit under X managers plans and then keep appointing managers to that same philosophy at all costs.

By no means proven in the top flight but I don't remember him being terrible.

You can't really afford to let any players rot without good reason, yet Maresca didn't seem to mind.

In fairness to him, it became apparent that we were a bit creative with the truth on our finances so he probably acted like we had luxuries that we didn't.

Even still it's poor practice how we've ended up with him in this position already. He was on the scrapheap six months into a five and a half year deal. It's so so poor, and we've done the same since with another player in his position! Of whom people bring up Vestergaard's turnaround, well guess what, we did it with him as well lol
