Managerial Replacements

No denying that Puel was hard to watch. But the players he bought in where mostly excellent. Ricardo, Evans, Madison, Soyuncu, Youri.

He started the transition. Sure the football was shit. But my point is that he built the foundation.

BR last 18 months do not get rid of the fa cup win and 5th places finishes. That's just a crazy comment. Yes he's hated. He's a dick. But my point is that he was successful until the last season. You can't judge a manager on how it ended, but what happened the whole time.

Should we disregard the title winning because of Claudios second season?

I’d forgotten about Puel until you mentioned his name… which shows the paid for therapy was working.

The crooks are no one really knows what is going on. Percy had his link with the club cut, so he doesn’t post anything these days….. the club generally keep their cards close to their chests.

What we’ve got to think is, the club might be thinking that any target we have might be vulnerable to be poached due to our situation, so we’re likely to hear anything until a deal has been struck.

Yes, talks underway with benson and hedges and a deal lined up with a foreign car giant for the new shirt sponsor - that’ll be the Daewoo!

Leicester need to replace Enzo Maresca and have made a thorough search for Maurizio Sarri . The profile is quite popular, there are other candidates, but for the moment the Tuscan coach prefers to wait a few more days. However, Leicester is a lead to follow. There are some situations to clarify in Italy, including Lazio and Bologna , so Sarri is in no hurry. The proposal from Panathinaikos dates back to a week ago, an important signing but the Commander thanked him and preferred not to elaborate.

Is he even any good?

We don't need good, we need fun. This is Leicester City, biggest basketcase club of all time, its supposed to be a roller coaster. I want him smoking 20 lambert and butler on the sidelines.

Didn't he leave Chelsea because he couldn't speak English?

basic, enough to get by.  interviews he used an interpreter.

but i'm not worried because in the football manager "i have no concerns at all, football is a universal language"

From a tactical standpoint, Sarri is known for his intelligence, attention to detail and his meticulous approach in preparing for matches during weekly training sessions. He often has his team prepare many different plays on set-pieces.[8][62] One of the main trademarks of his highly organised system is a four-man back-line. His teams usually play a high defensive line and adopt the offside trap and a zonal marking system. He requires his defensive players to be synchronised in their movements, anticipate plays, and look at the ball as a point of reference, not their opponents. Other key elements of Sarri's line-up are the presence of a deep-lying playmaker who dictates play in front of the back-line, such as Jorginho, and overlapping attacking full backs, to provide width to his team, as his players often attack from the flank, looking to play quick exchanges and make runs in behind into the box rather than deliver crosses into the area, however. As such, he favours dynamic wingers in his team, as well as defenders and goalkeepers who are comfortable on the ball, to help his team retain possession, and hard-working players who can implement his high pressing game.[63][64][65][66][67]

When defending off the ball, Sarri's teams often use energetic pressing, tight lines and pressure high up the pitch to win back the ball quickly.[64][65][68][69] Throughout his coaching career, Sarri has adopted several formations, such as the 4–3–1–2[63] or the 4–2–3–1,[8] but he later came to be known for using a "free-flowing, possession based 4–3–3 system" during his time with Napoli.
