Carlos Cuesta: The impressive rise of Arsenal’s detail-obsessed young coach - The Athletic (nytimes.com) He's been banged about by quite a few on here last month. Leicester_Loyal Posted 7 June Share Posted 7 June Don't really rate our board and owners but most of the time they get appointments with managers pretty spot on, I've got faith they'll pick someone decent once again.

But Cuesta may be a very cheap option as he would probably be willing to accept a very low wage, because he needs to prove himself.

davieG Posted 7 June Share Posted 7 June https://sportwitness.co.uk/leicester-receive-polite-rejection-manager-hes-got-plans/ Leicester City receive polite rejection from manager – He’s got other plans By Sean Lunt -7th June 2024 SHARE Leicester City made an approach to Real Madrid coach Davide Ancelotti as a replacement for Enzo Maresca but have received a polite refusal from the Italian. That’s according to journalist Jorge C. Picón, who says that Ancelotti junior would prefer to remain at Real Madrid for another year than head into management at this point. The journalist reports that Leicester and Stade Reims have knocked on Ancelotti’s door as they look for new managers this summer. Leicester are in the hunt for a new boss after Maresca decided to leave and join Chelsea but will have to look elsewhere as Ancelotti is keen on remaining where he is. He’s currently taking a holiday with his father and their family and friends before returning to Madrid to continue their preparations for next season. He received the offer from Leicester gracefully, with the Foxes seeing him as a good profile to continue the project that they started under Maresca. Ancelotti gave them and Reims the same answer, though, he wants to stay at Madrid for another year alongside his father. He’s not closing the door to any proposals, and has even held meetings on that front, but his intention is to finish in Madrid alongside his father and then move into management.
