Pearson football was definitely not entertaining

Compared to much of the past 7 years it was positively electric!

Niko Kovač

His approach relies on off-the-ball movement and interchanging positions too. Movement is pivotal in how he wants his teams to attack, which is predominantly through the left and right channels. Niko Kovac's preferable build-up play is to play through the defence from goal kicks.

The depressing thing is I guarantee there's a certain element on here that would unironically prefer Big Sam to Maresca.

Yes. But even I’d prefer him to this…

It'll be corberan

Which will end spectacularly badly.

It’s such a ridiculous idea I’m going to treat myself to a gin.

It may not be a given that Caballero follows Enzo out the door.

In which case it would be safe to assume he's putting his hat in the ring.

Would be interesting. Certainly been around Pep and co, but obviously being a keeper I suppose most people will see that as his remit.

However, if he puts his hat in then I hope he has suncream.

We could do with someone staying to be fair. We no longer have the 'lcfc' staff that we once had when a manager leaves. And Corberan doesn't have a massive team.

Surely he goes with him with this chance. Played for Chelsea too and I'd imagine Enzo wants people close to him by his side for a move like this.

Everyone praising Ipswich for biting down tooth and nail to keep McKenna, offering him a new 'bumper' contract....that's exactly what we didn't want to do with Enzo right?

If he keeps them up, playing well, great, the gamble is they end up like we did with Rodgers.

With his Chelsea connection I’d have assumed he would,

couldn’t see us appointing an assistant after the mess of the previous season.

if enzo goes to Chelsea and doesn’t take Willy with him then that would surprise me

You serious? His football was class. Some of the stuff in the championship winning season was unreal, full throttle go for it. Very different to Enzo’s style (I like them both)

Amazing what can happen with a board and manager liking and trusting each other, and with open communication...

And getting turned down for the job McKenna wanted

I think we need someone who is out of a job with top level experience, even if they've failed previously, Rishi Sunak maybe.

Might ask Danny Ward if he's looking forward to the Euros
