Tough sell for them when bleating hits reality given Brexit is directly implicated in the small boats issue and they can't campaign on changing the electoral system without opening the door to Brexit being unpicked.

 

For what's it worth Labour have the same issue on the other side of the coin in that in the cold light of day they'll have sell the message that the way to stop the boats is to start unpicking Brexit.
