Starmers like a rabbit caught in the headlights

This isn’t his stage. Starmer like you say isn’t comfortable.

Sunak is like the angry parent of the bully at private school, defending it despicable child.

Also, how many times are we going to hear “bold decision”!

Not sure if he's mentioned it, but Starmer used to work in prosecutions

I was just waiting for someone to ask about Jimmy Savile and why the case was dropped, whilst he head the CPS.

Nick Clegg would wipe the floor with the pair of these.

I think Starmer is actually continuing to just come across as calm and not make a tit of himself. This election for Labour is fully about not doing anything daft if they do that they'll win

Agree.  Sunak seems to be in a complete flap like a new starter at work in front of the seniors.  Can see how some would interpret this for "passion".

Julie is quite biased towards Rishi.

Tends to cut off Starmer quite quickly but let's Rishi rant on and on and speak over both of them.

"Gentlemen, please!"

It's just one gentleman continuing to talk over you though...

Just the definition of a successful opposition?

Simply let the gov make a tit of themselves, disagree with legislation that the public dislike and don't be daft

Serious question, what is the answer on immigration?

I don’t think anyone can answer that question.

There isn't one.

At least, not one that a plurality of people will go for while the idea of the primacy of the nation-state still lingers in people's heads.

(Actually there is an answer that incorporates that, it's just one that leads to mass death and suffering.)

Do we have an alternative to this pair?

It's like Daka or Ineacho to start in the Premier league  v Man. City!!

Country is fecked either way

So far I’ve taken.

Starmers mum and wife worked in the NHS.

Sunaks dad was a GP.

Starmer worked in prosecution.

Neither have an answer on migration.

Neither have an answer on taxes.

This ref is not even championship standard.

Pretty much, there's numerous solutions, but none which will be accepted or liked by the masses.

It's the big political football they're just kicking around

It's more like having Patson Daka vs. Hillary Clinton as your choice to face Man City in the Premier League.

Funny how there are a couple of issues like that.

Usually the ones involving human life and health on a massive scale; that is to say beyond one's borders and beyond a token gesture to somewhere like Ukraine, that is.

It's not great viewing (they never are), but then you're a complete fvcking idiot if you'd let these programmes influence your vote in any way at all tbh.

Harsh take in all honesty.

Politics and political insight isn't taught regularly and is difficult to understand at best of time.

Very few political writers or manifestos are written in a way for many to understand or comprehend. These debates are meant to make it more accessible, so of course people are going to be influenced

So what influences your vote?

We've had 14 years of Tory rule because Nick Clegg was good at remembering names. These debates should be illegal.

I've not watched, and you're all telling me I made the right decision.

It’s comical to be honest.

Sunak just interrupts and Starmer is letting him dig his own hole.

Neither are great.

We are basically voting for the least worse.
