I'm not really as bothered about this but the majority of kit from Adidas for me has been so poor for it's price.

Yeah way overpriced.

but it also comes across as very cheap  and generic to give two teams so close to each other,  the same gear..

Reece James injured again. They are not getting more than 4 games a season out of him

Just looked at his injury record and didn’t realize it was actually that bad, he’s missed 83 games in the last 3 season

It’s pretty ridiculous isn’t it. His body just isn’t going to be able to cope with being a premier league footballer by the looks of it. Chelsea could rest him for a year to see if it helps with the 7 million players they have to cover him

Seems my ChatGPT is even more optimistic

 Predicted Finishing Table for 2024/2025:

    1.    Manchester City - Pep Guardiola’s team continues to dominate the league, maintaining their top spot.
    2.    Arsenal - A young and dynamic squad under Arteta keeps them in contention for the title.
    3.    Manchester United - Strong improvements under Ten Hag, especially with new signings, help them secure a top-three finish.
    4.    Newcastle United - Consistent performances under Eddie Howe see them secure another Champions League spot.
    5.    Chelsea - With a new approach, Chelsea climbs back into the top five.
    6.    Aston Villa - Continue their upward trajectory, challenging for European spots.
    7.    Liverpool - A transitional season under new management sees them slip slightly but remain in the top seven.
    8.    Brighton & Hove Albion - Continue to impress with their attractive football, securing a top-half finish.
    9.    Tottenham Hotspur - Struggles with consistency continue, but they manage to finish in the top ten.
    10.    Brentford - Another solid mid-table finish for Thomas Frank’s side.
    11.    West Ham United - A steady season sees them finish mid-table, avoiding relegation troubles.
    12.    Leicester City - A strong return to the Premier League, securing a comfortable mid-table position.
    13.    Crystal Palace - Solid performances throughout the season keep them safely mid-table.
    14.    Fulham - Consistent performances help them avoid the relegation battle.
    15.    Wolverhampton Wanderers - A challenging season, but they manage to avoid the drop.
    16.    Nottingham Forest - Survive another tough campaign, finishing just above the drop zone.
    17.    Southampton - Struggle on their return to the Premier League but manage to stay up.
    18.    Everton - A difficult season sees them finally relegated after years of struggles.
    19.    Ipswich Town - The newly-promoted side finds it tough to adapt and is relegated.
    20.    AFC Bournemouth - Finish at the bottom after a difficult season and face relegation.

I haven't missed how big club focused this leagues is, a section on the BBC website talking about building up to the new season and potential transfers. At a count there are currently, 3 segments on man city, 3 on man united, 2 on Chelsea, and 2 on Liverpool, a little mention of Arsenal winning and not much else. Don't get me wrong I know it's Monday morning, but are we saying that none of the other 14 teams in the prem have nothing worth reporting on from over the weekend or heading into the start of the season?

Yeah, it's huge. It's basically Manchester, Liverpool and then pick 2 of the London teams.

I wasn't a big follower of the EPL when we were out of it and it seems to have gotten once. Genuinely ok with us going back down to being a championship team.

Predicted to finish 19th.

Says it all that in the article we’ll be looking for creativity through Harry Winks who has 6 assists in 300 PL games :(

Hard to take seriously after this.

Steve Cooper is very different to Maresca and it will be interesting to see how quickly the players adapt but the squad have quickly taken to his methods and enjoyed a positive pre-season.

In fact it's mostly out of date

Pedro Neto is apparently Chelsea's 35th permanent signing in just under 2 years of Todd Boehey.

Anyone want to guess who we signed 35 permanent transfers ago?
