"Alan Tate, the former Swansea defender, will be Cooper’s No 2 while former England under-20s goalkeeping coach Danny Alcock is also joining.

Leicester are paying compensation for two other key appointments: Andy Hughes, Norwich’s specialist set-piece coach, and Steve Rands, Nottingham Forest’s head of performance when Cooper was there. Hughes is highly rated and regarded as a significant coup: Norwich scored 18 goals from dead-ball situations last season and Hughes was a target for Brentford before a late U-turn to join Cooper. Rands, meanwhile, has previously worked with Pep Guardiola and Frank Lampard at Manchester City and Derby County respectively. Cooper is expected to make further additions to his coaching staff, with discussions ongoing".

It's amazing they're probably at Seagrave drinking tea with Rudkin and the club can't even be arsed to put out one of their basic pressers announcing Steve's backroom team. They really could not give more of a shit could they.

Prefer them to be business preparing the team rather than posing for photos TBH.

Might be waiting for them all to sign and do an announcement for the whole staff rather than piece by piece

The article was encouraging. Not just because it seems there is definitely money to spend, but also with regards to Cooper's determination to understand the club and the city. Also good news that we're apparently not interested in O'Hare.

Exactly what I thought. I was very interested to read he has taken interest in Filbert Street and understanding our transition to Filbert Way.

He seemed to really connect with Forest fans so hopefully that happens here to. Everything I've read so far about Cooper has been encouraging.

Hmmm  - He needs to talk quickly to those who dreamt up the £25/St Card, the Match Day price increases, the Shirt sponsorship all seem as far removed from 'all as one' club mentality as yo can get to me.

Previous Leicester managers such as Maresca and Claude Puel also never established much of a rapport with fans. Yet Cooper is big on communication and an “all as one” club mentality. With the threat of a points deduction, togetherness will be crucial.

Alan Tate - Assistant Manager

Danny Alcock - former England U20 Goalkeeper coach

Steve Randa - former Head of Performance at Forest

Them and Andrew Hughes, pretty much as I predicted. It's good the sources were reliable.

Could potentially field a side next season with Souttar, Vestergaard, Okoli, Ndidi and a target man striker next season 👀

Still wouldn’t beat the first man…

Maresca had a great rapport with the fans.

Yep the fans that supported the team loved Enzo and he loved them back. As far as I can tell it was those who sat there in miserable silence that didn't like him.
