Yeah.

 

More bosses that act like that and actually mean it would be a good thing in a lot of places, seeing as employees and workers are by definition the most important part of any company.

 

But fair play to those who have said he wasn't the right fit all along, highest level football isn't the place for managers like that. Adapt or get out.

For anyone interested in an update of round of 16 possible opponents.

 

If England win the group it's 3rd from either Group D (likely Poland or Austria), E (frankly any of Romania, Slovakia, Ukraine or Belgium) or F (likely Turkey or Czechia).

 

If England finish 2nd it's likely to be Germany

 

If England finish 3rd its either the winner of E (anyones, see above) or F (likely Portugal)

 

History suggests it would be very unlikely a team with 4pts would fail to qualify as one of the best 3rd place teams.
