It’d be easy to say, they’re ‘lesser’ sides and are sitting deep, but a better side could do the same and really punish us on the break (or just beat us playing like a better side can). 

 

Englands group games have taken away any excitement I had about this tournament. 
 

I was saying earlier, the previous eras… Beckham etc ultimately failed but there was something likeable about them. Some passion, national pride, etc. These lot don’t show anything like the squads of 96, 98, 02 did.
