Kevin Campbell In Hospital “Seriously Ill”

Recommended Posts

Just to say what everyone else is saying RIP. He was bloody brilliant during his short spell with us. We had a few good players back then but a very poor leadership. There’s loads of players I’ve forgotten about but Campbell would never be one of them.

Horrible news, remember watching Kev play at Blackburn away during his loan spell and he was unplayable that day, absolutely bullied their defenders with his power and pace, had we been able to extend his loan to the end of the season, I honestly believe we would have gone up, he transformed that Pleat side and gave us a real cutting edge.

RIP Kev 🦊

I went that Blackburn away game too.  I can still see him dancing around the goalkeeper, and rolling the ball into the net for our 3rd goal.

He was a superb loan signing, easily the best we've ever had.   And by all accounts a really nice lad.

The guy standing next to me broke his leg while celebrating and got carried out on a stretcher.

Thats celebrating hard. Literally limbs lol

I remember someone telling me that after our equalising goal against Swindon in the play off final the bloke next to him broke his ankle. The first aid people were trying to get him to go and get treatment but he sat there in a cold sweat refusing to move lol
