I think Jennifer pretty much said the same as she stepped away from it, something along the lines of in the final stages of appointment. The way the clubs being run, we'll probably reappoint Willie Kirk 😂😂

I posted on twitter asking what's going on when we've got young players leaving contracts on the table. It's been 'liked' by one of the women's academy coaches. 

How do you convince players to stay with no manager!

And that comes back to having a manager sitting down with these players and talking about futures. Loans, playing expectations..

Jumped, development definitely stalled the last year after a very promising 22-23 season. Next crop coming through in her position are really highly regarded at the club and at first team level we want more experience across the whole team.


Long term deal and a loan or two would be ideal but you rarely see that unless you’re one of the big clubs so if a championship side has come in and said we’ll play you every week it makes sense for her to take it.

Believe it’s cause she was never on pro terms (common in the women’s game, hence you get a lot of poaching 16/17/18 year olds) so hasn’t technically been released, idk though we do some weird stuff at times 😂
