He sounded so frustrated about lack of signings.

I am a big fan of Cooper but I do worry about being so open about this in public. It doesn't exactly inspire the players that are here now.

at a club not run by a nutcase of an owner he probably would, no one can succeed under Boehly

That’s on Enzo for deciding that was the right move. Perhaps he was that fed up with our clowns that he decided it was in his long term financial interest to work for a nutcase that will eventually sack him, no one can blame him for that his family are sorted for generations.

He has all but one of the players that just won the ****ing league at a sprint.

Ricardo, Ndidi, Faes, Vestergaard, Winks, Choudhury, Vardy, Coady, Daka and Justin have the PrEm ExPeRiEnCe he wants, plus Mavididi has played three seasons in the French top flight scoring goals for fun against opponents like today's.

Yes we need new players but the squad hasn't been the problem in preseason.

Needs repeating for the hard of reading.

They still won't get it.

The club took the easy option Cooper, when they could have made an inspired.choice. There is no structure the players don’t seem to know what to do, unlike last season. 5 or 6 defeats he will be gone.

Cheap and available option

Faes, Vestergaard, Choudhary & Daka should be nowhere near a premier league starting line up. Vardy is nowhere near the level he used to be.

Surely he could see there wouldn't be a lot of money washing about??? He spends 10+ million on a CB when we already have 6!!

This transfer probably made him think there was a lot to spend. Who spends that much on a centre back if you have 5 and not much to spend?

But how many of those players would start in a mid table PL from saying 13th to 17th? Maybe Winks, and Ricardo only.

We desperately need creativity and goal scorers.

If Steve Cooper didn’t feel he could work with the talent that we have within the squad and the players emerging from the academy such as Nelson, Braybrooke and Alves then he should never have took the ****ing job.

Imagine walking into a work place as the man in charge and constantly saying to anyone who will listen that what you have around the gaff isn’t good enough and we need new staff. It genuinely beggars belief.

But he loves working with youth
