Steve Cooper - New Manager

If I was Cooper I’d lay into this board tomorrow at the press conference and then submit my resignation.

The board are clearly lying to the managers about the money we have to spend.

And just throw away 3 years of salary for what? Chucking your toys out the pram. I’ll eat my hat if this happens. He’d be better to be a bit frictional with his answers which puts the board under more pressure without going in 2 footed.

I'd like to think the Blue Army would sympathise with him and the shitfest that he inherited, and vent their ire towards the hierarchy. Steve is already working with one hand behind his back, and that's without PSR.

Lol seriously, have you seen the majority of our fanbase? They clapped us to relegation.

Those who have undying love for KP don’t you dare boo this guy when we are getting trounced every week. They’ve given him a Brighton reserve. An Atlanta reserve and some ****ing guy Conor Coady thinks is world class. It’s disgraceful how we have treated managers here.

Honestly I'd love for him to just walk out of the job and expose the absolute ****ing shite sitting in the boardroom. We're getting relegated anyway, might as well have a clearout while we're at it.

The board .... rudkin and the other hangers on are delusional beyond belief... they have managed to take the club to a position that nobody of any quality or ambition will come anywhere near us ... but they believe that everything is great .... wake up Top ... go and have a word with the statue at the front of the club ..... and ask yourself ... what would he have done

His press conference will be very interesting, every right to be very salty

Imagine if he opened it with

''I'd like to start by thanking Top and the rest of the board for their unwavering support since I got the role as Leicester City Manager....''

Thing is, on his first day he dedicated about 30 seconds of his interview to how "Loved rudkin is and his wonderful relationship with the likes of KDH"....

Cracks me up that just because Rudkin et al are incompetent, suddenly it’s poor old Cooper.

Can I remind everyone that he’s shifted our formation from using an inverted fullback and a player that has fulfilled that role very effectively attacking & defensively in Ricardo and changed it to put the overload to our weakest position at left back. He’s still trying to achieve the same outcome of 5 attack 5 defense but his inability to play the Enzo style has had massive repercussions. To enable this change he’s dropped Ricardo and asked the weakest fullback of our main 3 choices - VK, to perform a role as an overload on the left that he isn’t great at. This has had detrimental knock on effects for Mavididi on the Left Wing and Fatawu on the right and has also meant we’ve had to look to buy a specialist number 10 when it would’ve been much easier to fill the less specialised and cheaper number 8 role that KDH had. Cooper’s new system also means Mads in goal under-utilises his footballing abilities and we lose that extra man when building play. Cooper has tried to fit players into a new system that definitely requires an expensive and challenging signing (a number 10) when he could’ve used the current set up that his current players are more used to and made it slightly more pragmatic where necessary during the friendlies.
