At least with Enzo, we could tap into some ‘hot young talent’   from Man City and Chelsea…

Now we can look forward to getting some youngsters from Forest in on loan..

That won't happen though will it.

First time I've seen Casadei and Doyle described as hot talent on here too. Be generous if you found 2 decent performances from either all season.

Not like we benefited from that hot young talent tbf. All our best players are still at the club this season and we have Will Alves, Baybrooked and Nelson breaking through who will progress massively under Cooper.

Remember Cooper made Rian Brewster look like a 20 mil player from his time in the u17s and at Swansea.

Genuinely nothing like Enzo ball tactically.

For a start Enzo would probably have Trafford or even Jason Steele in goal. Trent inverting from RB etc

Football needs to wake up, on and off the field, quickly.

What you want that shite. We won the prem without the ball and it was exciting.

I'd rather watch paint dry than the shite Rodgers and Enzo put up.

Fvck this I'd rather go down tha watch the shite Rodgers and Enzo put up.

I want to see fight. Not paint dry.

Very confused by this thread

similarities are that there were eleven players on the pitch for England and enzo also had eleven players

if you’re making the point that Southgate didn’t change things enough when they weren’t  working then I’m not sure that even works cos he did - just got it wrong again

pickford can’t play enzo ball - not good enough with his feet and panics when under any kind of pressure. If the keeper can’t do it then enzo ball doesn’t exist

You've misunderstood me, massively.

I pretty much saying everything you say, football's needs to wake up and see 'the modern game' is bullshit.

Just heard an interview from Walker after the England game he said along the lines of "You don't get 4-0's, 4-2's, 4-3's in the modern game"...I'm not even arguing that's what we used to get, because I don't think we did but besides if he wants to make that point, Why? What's wrong with that? That's exactly what we want to see, rather than the dour shite that most games play out like.

For all the quality and skillful players in the game nowadays the game is at it's most boring and stagnant, it's gone backwards.

Perhaps i'm older, perhaps it's nostalgia, yeah you've always had 'shit' teams but football never used to be this boring.

This tournament has been wonderfully entertaining. On and off the field

It has, a breath of fresh air. I've been impressed with alot of the games. Many great goals, long strikes, forward play.

Football generally (in recent years) and England speaking specifically....a different story.

We won 2/3rds of our matches so it can't have been that bad.

You didn't see Millwall away? Four nights later you did not see plymouth away? Ffs we was awful but Enzo had no answer. We was lucky at the end. We handled it others didn't.

We did not dominate that league we got lucky.

Care to tell me how many pts we dropped after Xmas?

Lucky as fvck. Nothing to do with Enzo or our game.

Paint dry n we got lucky.
