Just a thought

To get things into perspective.
Maresca won the league with  at least
13 full Internationals in a championship squad!
He still nearly made a mess of it, losing to teams like Plymouth, Millwall, etc because of his stubborn ways? Maybe? or was it he didn't know what to do?
Poor game management against Ipswich cost us another 4 points, and from the reports we should never have lost at Leeds.
There's more like that throughout the season, all because he wouldn't adapt.
Early on , opposition manager's we're already finding him out, e.g. Hull City at home.
If Steve Cooper had, had that squad he would surely have got us to top spot, let's face it, if TOMMY COOPER was the gaffer we would have won it.
Once we were up, I would have sacked Maresca ( in fact I would have got rid of him sooner) because we all know that he would have approached the premier league in the same way.
And we all know where that would end!
Potter may have been the man of choice, but he, apparently was worried about losing his Chelsea dividends.
If Man United had offered him a job he'd been there like a rat up a drainpipe, so his heart would never have been at Leicester, what are the odds on the England job being his target.
Cooper wanted to be with us, I'd have swapped him for Maresca in March or even before.
It's probably safe to say he'll last longer than Maresca.
Good luck to him, and to all of us we'll need it.
But this is Leicester City where nothing is constant, or boring!
( Except Maresca's back passes).

Park life!

Looked at the format and was expecting a poem.

That was not poetry Sir!

https://deepai.org/chat/poet

The Foxes' faithful, with hearts so bright, Are met with dread, at Cooper's managerial sight, A new era dawns, with hope in the air, But will his leadership bring triumph or despair?

His tactics clunky, his ego so grand, Will he lead the team to the promised land? Or will his poor decisions bring only pain, And the fans' dreams of glory fade away in vain?

The squad's talent, rich and deep and wide, Will be squandered, as his management pride, Will stifle creativity, and suffocate the flow, And the Foxes' spirit, slowly start to go.

His communication skills, a mystery to behold, Will players be confused, or simply grow cold? The training sessions, a chore to endure, As his negativity seeps in, like a poisonous lure.

The fans' patience, will be tested to the limit, As results falter, and expectations plummet and dimmit, The media's spotlight, will shine bright and bold, As Cooper's every move, is dissected and told.

But still we hold on, to the hope in our hearts, That somehow, someway, he'll find a way to restart, To listen to the players, to learn from his mistakes, And lead the Foxes to glory, for their sake.

But until then, we'll suffer through the pain, Of watching our beloved team, in a downward spiral again, With Steve Cooper at the helm, guiding the way, The future looks uncertain, for Leicester's brighter day.

The poem expresses the uncertainty and concerns of Leicester City fans about Steve Cooper's managerial abilities. It highlights his potential flaws, such as clunky tactics, an inflated ego, and poor decision-making, which could lead to poor results and a lack of creativity. The poem also touches on Cooper's communication skills, suggesting that his negativity may affect player morale and overall performance. Despite these concerns, the fans hold on to hope that Cooper will improve and lead the team to success.

Yet here you are reacting and commenting about other peoples views,  just because it doesn't fit your narrative it must be ludicrous, what's the point to foxestalk if people cant express an opinion

Opinions not only need to be expressed, they also require the ability to be consumed.

Read the thread... It wasn't me who called the post ludicrous but thank-you for endorsing my opinion ...

Agreed.Hope it goes pear shaped.

Now it's decided why do you want it to go pear shaped?

He fails Lcfc fails.

I'm not over enthused but now want to see it go well.

Surely as a Fan you want the club to succeed. As apposed to I can only assume being proved right.

I was responding to a post where it was posted they didn’t want Maresca to do well.

I was responding to a post that was referring Maresca, why would I want him to do well!

Sorry, I thought you meant Cooper. My bad. 🙈

Personally, I expect Maresca to be spending Xmas with his family!
