Stevie Bausor, is he highly rated? As he didn’t play for 18s yesterday and was involved in first team warming keepers up yesterday. Seems strange to have him around and not play in a game to just have him do a warm up? Was iversen there yesterday?

Iversen was on the bench.

They usually have 3 keepers there on a match day so if 1 has to drop out due to injury they will always have 1 to start and 1 for the bench

 

Looks like Ward was already out so Bausor would have been there in case anything happened to Mads or Iversen and would’ve become the bench keeper

To be fair, Alves, Braybrooke and Nelson have been hyped for a while and are still here.

 

We signed Popov, Richards and Grist. They all have good reputations and are still here.

 

Nyoni and Noubissie both went but just like everyone else we'll still be trying to keep our best youngsters or getting good money for them.

 

Hopefully Monga stays with us through the age groups. He's already straddling the U18s and U21s so I don't think it's unreasonable to think he could be an U21 regular by the end of the season with an eye on making a first-team squad.

 

His rise has been meteoric so far so let's hope it continues. If it doesn't, let's hope we give him the time to develop at his own pace.

No, we recently lost a promising youth player to Liverpool. Today a promising youth player clearly had an excellent game against Chelsea. Chelsea consistently buy our players. I’m suggesting that he could be next, as a really good 15 year old playing up the age groups. 
 

I'm not sure what is so hard to understand.

We can't moan about other bigger clubs taking out players.

We have done the same to smaller clubs academies for years.

 

When one gets snapped up, we should embrace it and let them go with our blessing and hope they take the opportunity . 

 

It's the circle of life in football.

Whatever pool you swim in, a bigger fish can always cone and snap you up.

 

The bigger clubs rinse  the smaller clubs, and we are no different to anyone else's.

As long as we can have no regrets as to why they left though. If it was swayed because they don't see the pathway here, and ironically see a better pathway at a bigger club (Liverpool) than that's galling.

I understand this in some respects, but as Ric says, on the surface of things you've got a better chance of breaking in the first team at Liverpool as a youngster than you have here, and that is a disgrace.

We have many products from the grassroots system that have either gone onto making a way into our first team or having good careers in the lower leagues. 

 

More than most clubs I would say.
