We need more than one new player to play in the three behind the striker if that's how he's lining up.

You would think so. In my head I had that we need a ST, 10, 6, winger and a LB but I can't help but suspect we would end up signing a ST who can maybe play wide, a winger who can play at 10 and a CM and that's it... the Leicester way.

Brother in law is a Liverpool fan and he reckons the rumour up there is that they are trying to sweeten us up a bit as we're in the midst of legal action over an illegal approach for Nyoni. Therefore they're likely to encourage both Carvalho and Doak to join us to try and placate us a bit.

That sounds like fan speculation trying to add a narrative to be honest.

You might well be right. Does make for a more interesting story doesn't it?

If they really wanted to make amends they'd throw in Mac Allister, Szoboszlai, Endo, Tsimikas and Jota while covering all their wages as well

You can tell John Henry we'll have Gakpo, Diaz and Jota and they can keep Nyoni with no legal action. Seems fair.

We'll accept their apology, take their players and then screw them in court anyway.

Liverpool have form

VVD cost them a bigger transfer fee.

it’s probably long enough ago that it wouldn’t make a difference but if they’re banged to rights over nyoni (and something must be going on or it would have been sorted by now) then either we make something out of it on a deal or we go for them properly.
