lump your money on us loaning a striker, either Broja, Fofana or Ings

Won't be Broja, his move to Ipswich is likely off because of injury and Chelsea were insisting on an obligation to buy.

Mind you, wouldn't put it passed us to still take him on, agree to the obligation, not see him until after Christmas

Pretty sure in one of the first links to him it said the aim was to keep him until they qualified for European football…not that qualification meant he would be staying.

Basically help secure them extra revenue, job done, then potentially sold.

I know it's only one game but if that were an audition you wouldn't want to go anywhere fxxking near him.

Yet based on the first leg you would want to pay whatever to get him

hes meant to be very good but we have no chance of us getting a deal done in a day

a loan but nothing perma

You'd imagine if they were willing to sell once the qualifiers were done then everything can have been agreed already.

if that was the case I don’t think percy would have been writing that we failed in our attempt

One very obvious obstacle in trying to get this done in a day is the distance - it’s at least a 4 hour flight away.

I also expect the Panathinaikos front office won’t be in any fit shape to take early morning phone calls either after tonight’s result.

So… probably not for us tomorrow.
