As long as it isn’t a stupid contract then I am alright with this with him being a squad player

Just off the back of a good season with Fulham as a squad player - 6 goals and 2 assists in 1,423 minutes (15.8 90s) - goal contribution every 155 minutes

VERY versatile

Doesn’t appear to have any previous serious injury issues and over the last 10 seasons has pretty much always been available for his clubs

Also IF we do get relegated then I think he would be a very good player for us to have in the Championship

Realistically we can’t be buying every player - we need at least a couple of smart free signings like this (Sergi Cardona next please :fc:)

So he can play everywhere bar in Goal. I don't know anything about him but possibly a good squad player as you never know who gets injured.

In terms of quality though, We really need to be aiming higher. people who can effect games and results.

The way forward is upcoming youth with ability who just need that exposer and polishing off to the finished article.

I think possibly thats where Coopers best Talents is in developing young players so why not build on that.

Not one to get Overly excited about but a solid player who, at PL level will offer cover to about 6 different positions and bring experience.

First name on the bench and for free... that's nothing to be sniffed at.

Think we should be having our u21 as backup to our wingers rather than signings north of 30

I often think your backups should be one more experienced player (eg. Albrighton) and then the other a Youth prospect.

The below looks pretty balanced with 2 good starters and then 2 good bench options.

Fatawu / Mavididi / De Cordova Reid / Alves

Also got Silko Thomas or McAteer as 5th choice as well

How much will it cost to have his name and double digit number on a replica shirt plus EPL patches??  UKP 100+?

So what if we don't? It really doesn't matter.

Well it's a football forum, so nothing on here 'matters' does it lol

It's just quite entertaining to get some snippets of info every now and again.

Yes, we do. Because those comments are frankly boring and moronic now. Especially from you.

Would be nice to just talk about a player and whether he seems a good signing or not. Yes we all know we aren’t the team we was 2 years ago.

Is he free. yes.

Is he better than what we have in reserve for Mavi and Fatawu. Yes.

Moving onnnnnnnnn

Is he more proven at Prem level than either of the two you mention. Yep.

Solid signing.

With this signing it might mean McAteer might be moved inside to play in the middle?

Not good enough for premier league level. Bar a few goals early on last year he was not really top championship standard either. Hope he comes good but it wont be with us, the best case is he has a good loan and someone buys him to help our future PSR.
