But 1, we are even more so due to the unknowns around point deductions and the fact our higher ups are clueless (see comments from the last few managers and even Cooper already and even that agent of Soule). And 2, maybe it says you are targeting unrealistic players? Puel did a great rebuild and brendan comes in enjoys the success of it whilst slowly destroying everything. At the same time he leaves celtic in the worst position they’d been in for years. His punishment for that… going back to a rebuilt Celtic that have had the best recruitment for scotland since the henrick larson days, thanks to the aussie. Now he’s going to look really good as that team is hitting its prime and has real quality. He will slowly but surely start to worsen the club but before that effect kicks in, he will land a top 7 or 8 job back in the prem and the cycle will begin again.
