Tell him, he described himself as such.

Rudkin described himself as a good negotiator once, doesn't mean its true 👌

Because the manager thinks we need some pace at the back, just as Maresca did. :dunno:

The manager says we need strengthening up top. When we signed Okoli we had 6 (six) centre backs.

Even you at this point must realise its daft?

We have a board, a CEO and an owner all above Rudkin... but we'll just keep pretending they don't exist lol

And the Director of Football directs what exactly?  Ah ….Just obeying orders?  Mmmm - Heard that one before in Nuremberg circa 1946.  Two Tier LCFC.

It gets worse. Retaining Vesty meant we ‘needed’ to recruit speed.  So one potential error in judgement fuchs-up the limited Transfer Budget🫣

Some say we're planning on being relegated, i don't think we are but I think it'll be plan B or will need to be because we are being forced that way as we can't get our first choice options to enable us to stay up and seemingly can't offload our Championship players to fund more purchases.

Well he doesn’t run the finances.

outrageous isn’t it. We are now reportedly not able to pursue cavalho or nelson because we don’t have cash but we spent 15m odd on a player who probably won’t start.

Fully off of our rockers

No no genuine question.

Keeping actual politics out of this, scroll through the numerous Rudkin threads and all this has been debated over and over again.  If you consider the man that agrees fees and salaries is kept in the dark on the Clubs Finances, then you wonder how King Power is such a successful organization.  Some people at this Club have a lot to answer for.

Only manages the department which equates to more than 90% of total spend.

Who said he’s kept in the dark? He doesn’t set the budgets ffs. He’s not even on the board and you act like he’s a one man show. lol

Anyway, got f*** all to do the the original discussion. It was never about him until you decide to try and drag it all back up.

Seems people aren't able to get their head around general business principles.

Director of finance works with parts of a organisation to agree budgets, which is then signed off for the by the board.

Rudkin would have been working to the budget agreed by the board.

I suspect we are looking for at least 2-3 players the movement.

I would also imagine Liverpool and Arsenal are looking for 30-40m for their respective players.

We more then likely want two for that amount

With the greatest of respect, I think you may be underestimating the intelligence of some of the FT Members and their knowledge of business principles.

The direction of this Club is not looking healthy right now and realistically changes are needed to get this ship navigating in the right direction. Until that happens, I fear we will become a Yo-Yo Club.  This current Transfer Window will define our illustrious DoF and his Recruitment Team.   Any news on Ayew?

You reckon lcfc work to general business principles then? 😆
