EURO 2024 FINAL THREAD: SPAIN vs ENGLAND Sunday, July 14th, 8:00PM

Recommended Posts

Southgate is a poor tactician and he has messed up at crucial moments but the pile on which will become abusive is totally uncalled for.

He’s done some very good things with the England set up. On a personal level, he must be mentally frazzled and gutted right now

Name one worse than the decision most pundits and fans thought was horrendous!!🤣🤣

The handball decision that Germany got awarded a penalty for against Denmark.

Palmer would be the best choice to be given 1st 11 opportunity.  Despite he is so tall ,he can hold the ball ,ambitious and so talented. He will be big player .

We’ve been forever losers for nearly 60 years now, it’s the England way.

We’ve had much better managers than Southgate since 66 and always come up short.

Fear of failure, unrealistic expectations, too much club football, the excuses are endless.

Pick yourself up mate, we are so close to victory. We've lost it in tiny moments against the best teams.

I'm not getting into a discussion about managers. 4 Semis in a row and 2 finals, it is an unbelievable level to where we where before, this is a complex game.

All it has come between the teams is one moment; one run, one ball. Whoever the manager is, in future this is of tremendous importance, we cannot keep losing at this stage; we know Spain, we know Italy, we know Argentina, we know what they are about, we know how they do things. The only way we conquer them is bettering these moments.

**** them all. No pleasantries. We want the gold. Victory will conquer fear, the world fears England when we're at our best, just listen to them all celebrate.

Do not give in. It will happen.

Haha what you meant to say is that I’m right and you know it lol

Just looking back at the goals. Might be over critical here but I think Pickford has dived the wrong way for both of their goals.

Probably an exaggeration but so many Man City players fail to deliver on international stage. Minus Rodri obviously lol

I mean … they looked much better without him lol

But 2021 we didn’t.

I don’t think England have ever beaten a World Cup winning nation in the knockout rounds on foreign soil.

Uruguay - Never beaten them in a competitive game

France - Nope, unless you count La Tournoi

Italy - Nope, unless you count La Tournoi

Brazil - Nope, we’ve only beaten them 4 times as well!

Germany - Nope.

Argentina - Nope.

Spain - Once, 8th May 1968!

Crazy that!

That was the sickening one

Home tournament everything in our favour and we lost to a bunch of pensioners

After completing dominating for 45 minutes then trying to see the next 45 out.
