Worth noting that he's wearing the same track-suit as he was in that picture of him arriving at the KP a few weeks ago. Likely that is when this was filmed and we've just been sitting on it. 

 

....Or he has wore the tracky more than once but I reckon it makes sense that is why he was there.

Maybe it's my Abdul man-crush, but I love that announce clip...

 

...and the frontman of that band (The Murcians) looks a bit like the lad who leads the singing (often not facing the actual match) in SK1?!

Like someone mentioned above, playing a cover song for commercial use (i assume they are making money off interactions on the clip), requires a certain level of permission from the original artist. If the band make money from the cover, they need a 'mechanical licence' too. Can be a bit messy and probably took a bit of time to iron out.

He works in insurance so I can confirm it isn't him

I genuinely thought that was a local unsigned band made of City fans. Never expected them to be an established act. Maybe I’m just getting old, but I’ve seen better sounding bands that struggled to get any success :dunno:

It was apparently sporting being very slow on paperwork.

Wouldn't be surprised.

 

Just been on their website (to have a nosey at what the exact fee is after all the rumours - Portuguese clubs tend to release figures), and they've not even bothered to announce they've sold him yet!

It's been home office/international clearance paperwork holding it up.
