Not all of them though. Athens 2004 opening ceremony was a masterpiece.

From the bits ive sure its looked cheap and tacky. Poor weather has certainly made it bit of downer. Think its safe to say London 2012 really set standards high.

Yes London 2012 was excellent too. Any Olympic Ceremony that celebrates history is good. This one day was a disgrace. A cheap fiasco, another Eurovision crap show. Dreadful.

I thought London 2012 having the sailing events around the south coast was a bit far away but France have smashed that by having events in Tahiti

The rain hasn't helped. I suspect the crowd was meant to be the athletes around this stage, but most have left because of the weather, making it look like them strange COVID time crowds.
