Maybe this isn’t the full facts but if he was offering to meet you and his response after you sent him the message saying it’s a euromillions ticket (😂), this may have actually been a mistake? Has he said anything else since?

The problem with buying spare footy tickets is that they’re not supposed to be resold. So when this happens there is f all you can do about it. Just the risk we take. Most sellers on here are alright.

Usually you can't do much but as William is a mate of mine, I spent 5 minutes looking in to him and now know where he lives and works, his mum's address and his batting average for Woodsetts Cricket Club in 2014.

Wayne offered me 2 Hull away tickets via FoxesTalk that he couldn't use when we last played em.

 

Within an hour we met at a mutual place in Leicester and I bought them without any issues.

They were 100% legit and he seemed a decent bloke and we had no issues.

 

I did get a few messages from someone on here a few months ago who was very suspicious about him,  asking me if he was legit as they were waiting for tickets they had purchased that hadn't arrived and Wayne had told him that I could give him good references as he had sold me tickets in the past.

 

I informed him that I'd had no issues with buying the 2 Hull tickets and all was fine.

 

Wayne messaged me on here around a week ago saying he had a spare for the Fulham game but I needed 2 so had to decline.

 

Always came across as decent with me and I assumed I'd have met up to buy the ticket again this time if I'd bought it so am/was surprised to see and read about this happening although I was aware someone had been having an issue with a ticket not turning up last season.

It's interesting that the FT account William bought them from was opened on Sunday.
