Souttar - gone to Sheff Utd (loan.)

Recommended Posts

classic! We’re probably still paying stoke instalments for him, then we send him to them on loan, with us paying  most of his wages lol

Was absolutely immense in that game away at Newcastle. One man wall.

To think if we'd have nicked that goal, right at the end, on the break (completely undeserved, from an attacking point of view, that game) we'd have stayed up!

I would give him a chance personally, must be awful in training, never gets a chance

Must be. Mind you it probably doesn't help when you start a friendly and stick the ball in your own net cos you can't sort your feet out.

Or if Maddison hadn't taken that pen against Everton...

He did shore up our defence when he arrived to be fair, which was leaking goals from headers.

For about 2 games then he  looked like a rabbit in  headlights and he got dropped .

That January window looking disastrous. Tete flopped and has just gone to Greece. Souttar is championship standard at best and Kristiansen hates the club. Oh and Leeds pulled the plug on Jack Harrison after we let Albrighton go.

Incredible window 🤦‍♂️

Panic window.

The club felt the squad was strong enough to finish in a decent position (Which a lot of the fan base would have agreed with even post-relegation)

Rodgers's refusal to use Vestergaard or Soyuncu left us panic buying a CB at short notice.

The jury is still out on Kristiansen; it could be a case of the right player, wrong time. But I would argue we overpaid due to the situation.

Tete low risk which had a massive upside if it worked out.

He didn’t even play that many games for stoke and people on here were thinking he was the answer to our premier league struggles lol

Reeks of a panic buy, probably to try and nullify the amount of corners we had conceded that had been a running issue for the previous 18 months
