If we achieve the add ons we would end up spending over £30m on Oliver Skipp and Jordan Ayew

And still be in the Premier League - job done and well worth it

Genuine unbiased question:

Who else could you get in, that had 7 assists and 3 goals in the prem, last season, from the right hand wing (cus that’s where he played last season, and that’s where he’ll help us out), for £6m?

He averages about 3 assists a season. Last year looks like a bit of a freak season for him.

Its not my job to find us signings. The club spends millions on recruitment and scouting and the best they can do is jordan ayew.

Revenge can be a long time coming in football.

Years ago, Trevor Francis as Palace manager  inexplicably took Ade Akinbiyi off our hands for more or less only a 1 million loss.

To give the younger forum members some context, without hyperbole, that is the equivalent of Palace taking Ward off.our hands  now and paying us a couple of.million for the pleasure

The Akinbiyi transfer almost beggared belief at the time.

As long as they contribute heavily towards us staying up and we haven't just pissed more money up the wall

Which will mean we'll still be a Premier League club next season.

“if Ayew fancies the move Steve Cooper will put him straight into his side”

Urmmmmm who for?  Because unless he’s replacing BDR on the left, he’s not fit to lace the others boots

To anyone that thinks Alan Nixon has a clue.

I bet you cn't wait to watch Graham Potter's blue army line up with the front three of Soule, Ayew and McAtee. Shame we lost Iversen to Derby though.

Percy has already confirmed we have bid for him, if anything it shows Nixon seems to know what is going on with this deal.

I know mate. I’m not ecstatic about it. But, my question highlights the reason he’s being signed.

£6m is basically nothing, for a player with that amount of premier league games under their belt, who is on form (for a right hand side attacker), who is as fit as a fiddle regardless of age, and who specialises in coming on late in a game, to help his team hold on to points, by drawing fouls.

Thank god we got in Martyn Glover to unearth hidden gems like Ayew and BDCR lol 🚮

To be fair, Rudkin has asked him to turn a turd into gold.

We’re not attractive to the top end players.

Too many ostriches on here.

If you don’t think we’re building for a year or two of ‘yo-yoing’, due mainly to the PSR breach, you’re deluded

There's an obvious reason why - look at our situation. So, yes your point is well made.
