Guessing this isn't done in time for Fulham then?

You know how slow we are, and guess Palace will hold things out as well so he doesn't play for another PL team in the next round of fixtures.

I'd have been more shocked if the deal was done in time!

We are not the lcfc of 2016 nor are we the lcfc who won the fa cup. Signings like this helped us onto that path though. He will come in, work hard and is a senior professional with experience in the prem and national level. We aren’t looking at him for goals, it’s the pressing, pressure and intelligence of his play. The fact that Palace fans rate him bodes well. But I fear that he will get the kels treatment from our ever so loyal and patient fan base.

Marcelino Nunez who assisted the Sara goal is also an excellent dead ball specialist. Yes the goals you linked were well worked but also had an excellent delivery on both. If you look at Sara's assists last season a lot were simply excellent deliveries and not much trickery.

The two examples I sent were low and flat I don't think you need to be David Beckham to deliver those and would have every faith in a fatawu or winks to replicate them.

But Yes your right though I watched the video and there was a lot of nice deliveries hit into the right areas however the season before (22/23) when Norwich didn't have Andy Hughes he only managed 4 assists so maybe there is more to it than simply having a "set piece specialist" in fact before last season he has never managed more than 4 assists in a season so maybe he isn't the specialist your making him out to be.

I don’t dislike the signing but how in gods name has it taken the whole week to put a transfer through where all parties are clearly interested, every game is vital this year and we have damaged ourselves by not being able to put this through in time for Fulham… how do we expect to put through two transfers next week when we can’t even put Ayew through over 5 days

Honestly please can someone justify the outlay for him?!!

He doesn’t improve our 11.

He doesn’t improve the first 5 or 6 we’d bring off the bench.

Is he worth giving minutes ahead of Cannon, Alves, Braybrooke, McAteer etc?

This just isn't true is it. He may not be an exciting signing but he clearly improves the squad

Give it up!

yes. Absolutely.

He’s got more prem experience in his little finger than all those put together. We will need cool heads and  experienced players to  keep things steady when a few defeats and the points deductions come in…

people seem to expect us to pay 30m  several times for all these exciting talents with little realization of the situation we are in..

we are just not an attractive proposition any more. People need to understand that.

Exactly. I just had a quick look. 16 of our current squad have PL experience. About half of them have pretty extensive experience. It's quality that's the issue.

im not!  Vardy won’t play much .. our wingers don’t, BCR is about the only  attacking midfielder who dries, mos Tod our experience will be sitting back and mopping up
