The Athletic reporting that we can't afford Carvalho or Nelson, both were about the same! Seems like its panic station behind the scenes.

The Tanner article this morning is saying we’ve spent £30m of our £40m budget

so unless Soumare is sold, this won’t be happening

Deffo the case. Literally just throwing money at anyone with no strategy whatsoever. The bloke had his floors but i struggle to believe that Marescas transfer window would of been as bad and unorganised as this

His non-penalty G+A per 90 anywhere outside of the Netherlands is consistently about 0.3.

8 goals and 5 assists in 79 apps and 35 starts (37 nineties) at Tottenham isn't good. He wouldn't be cheap either, anybody keen is probably overly swayed by name recognition.

In fairness, he’s not got a clue how much we’ve got……

You heard it here first and now you can’t get it out of your head.

Prefer the Neil Diamond original myself

Why are we even showing interest in players then?

Nope, Tanner says we may have a similar situation with Carvalho, it's Nelson we can't afford for sure.

Bloody hope we don’t go throwing £20-25 million on Steven Bergwijn.

But there seems to be a clear pattern emerging in terms of the attacking players we’re linked with. Soule, Asprilla and Bergwijn all ranked highly in their respective leagues for creative passes and progressive runs.

Wilf Zaha will probably be the next one to be linked lol
