The body language from the players at the end of normal time is a big red flag. Keeping their distance from Cooper, Coady acting as go-between and no signs of any connection between boss and players. 

 

If, as looks likely, the rumours are true, then Vardy, Ricardo and the other senior players need to be working out a way forward. They'll know better than anyone what's working and what isn't, and how to convey it to someone who'll listen.

 

There are good managers out of work who won't need a compensation package for their club or waste negotiation time with. Time to bite the bullet.
