I see what you mean, but if we are getting players that come for the money and a shop window only, they are not the players that are going to keep us up. If we went in a different direction then players might buy into a progressive project instead. Would have put us I a stronger position. What the **** has happened to the recruitment team over the last 12 months? Last summer's window was great, and exactly fit the mould of what we should be looking to do - good young players, with potential and resale value, that most of us have never heard of - Hermansen, Fatawu, Mavididi, Akgun - mixed with a bit of experience - Coady, Winks.
