Eh? How on earth is he being arrogant by being honest with players about how likely they are to be used? Surely that's better than misleading them?

He’s tried to wash his hands of the squad size problems and not actually deal with it directly. Although it’s hard to feel sympathy for players like Chilwell and Sterling on huge wages. He has a duty to manage these international, star players. Just dumping them into the reserves and saying they’ll never play for the club is not dealing with the problem.

Not sure its Enzo's fault that Chelsea have spent 3 years signing anything with a pulse to be fair

I agree, I just think other managers would have dealt with it better.

May be an image of 1 person, playing football, playing American football and text that says "yhalefin JONFE 17 Premier League Fans Chelsea paid £20m to loan Joao Felix and he flopped, then he flopped at Barca again Yet Chelsea decided to sign him for €60m on 300k a week, making him the 13th signing this summer."

Because it actually helps them with FFP perversely. They get to book €40m as pure profit on the books for Gallagher, and Felix only costs them €10m per year in amortised fees. So they make €30m profit on the two deals for this season. That kicks the can down rhe road for another 12 months with the rules soon to be changed.

Thank fvck for that, and for avoiding this

Jermaine - widely regarded as Lineker's natural successor to Match of the Day - covered this summer's Euros and commentated on Spain's semi-final victory over France on July 9th.

Surely Mark Chapman is his natural successor seeing as hes been doing MOTD2 for years and is actually good at his job

The world doesn't usually work like this anymore.
