I felt like I made a mug of myself with how I described Enzo to Chelsea fans I know after the way they started. Even had a moment of thinking that maybe it was just our squad that was the issue but time has shown that the same old issues come out eventually.

It was specifically about Yoro looking at the linesman for a bail-out rather than playing until the whistle. 

 

It's fairly common for players to do that which has been a pet peeve of mine for a long time but did feel like a bit of a witch-hunt for the lad. Definitely Sky trying to get a "clip".

Certainly felt like there was something deeper there because it felt a bit out of pocket to go in on him that much.

My point was Maddison contributed more than most of our squad (aside from Barnes) so his original post of "you don't want him in the trenches with you" is wrong. We had him in the trenches and he delivered. It was the other shite that let us down.

 

I'm not bothered about him as a person, Maddison, he comes across as child like to me, but his output for the club while he was here was good enough. His last three seasons here he scored 10, 18, 11 in all competitions.

I found it a bit weird people turning excessively on Maddison. I think his personality just invites fairly obvious ageist digs from boomers who find him a bit weird for acting like Gen Z... which he is? 

 

I thought he always put a shift in, I'd say a lot of the time he looked like he cared a lot more than most of the people on the pitch.

Supposedly they clashed over the selling of players, Poch wanted to keep Gallagher in particular who’d been big in their kinda revival towards end of the season

Chelsea aren't getting top 5 imo. Far too inconsistent now and they have the most difficult run in.

 

Newcastle and Man City will finish 3rd and 4th but don't know which order. 

 

Fifth is a straight shoot out between Villa and Forest. Villa the much better team but Forest with an easier run in on paper

Still maintain that Maddison is a great player to have around when things are going well but goes missing for large portions of time

I see the premier league have closed the loophole we used in relation to psr rules.  Promoted clubs can now lose even less money equates to 66million per 3 seasons.  Wow.  Talk about making the premier league a closed shop.  Leeds, will struggle with that figure even Sheff Utd, Burnley.

 

No wonder 3 teams come up are the same ones relegated each season.

 

Best league in the world you are having a laugh.  Where is the fairness and giving every team a chance?
