Liverpool can win the title with 79 points just goes to show how weak the traditional top sides have been and why the likes of Forest, Bournemouth, Brighton, Brentford, Fulham have all had moments in the top 5/6

Looking at the table it’s clearly split into 5 different categories.Top 2 clearly better than everyone else. Then the CL challengers, followed by the new breed hipster brigade.Next the tired established mob.Lastly the three promoted clubs otherwise known as the cannon fodder.

A Spurs win tonight would round off a very bad weekend for Forest.

Forest will probably end up 7th then complain next season about having too many games .

Same for whoever comes 6th.

Big test for Forest , not so much that it’s Spurs, more the fact that after previous bad results they have tended to bounce back straight away. If they did lose tonight it would suggest they are feeling the pressure. We just need to turn up at their place and finish off their dreams.

I’ll be interested to hear what they say about the disallowed Coady goal on Ref watch, I’m sure Dermot will say it’s a foul but if Sue and Warnock as ex-players say it was then might as well give up.

I get the goal wouldn’t have made any difference to our outcome but it’s the principle, I quite enjoyed this comment from Blackwell “…and were perhaps unlucky not to break their home duck, Conor Coady’s header ruled out seemingly because Patson Daka looked at Alisson. Never mind physical contact, it seems eye contact is punishable too nowadays.”

The Liverpool luv’in & their ability to win a title with a whopping 79pts will ensure all comments will revolve around them and it probably won’t get another mention.

Which brings me onto, given the amount of hullabaloo over TAA I’m I right in thinking he is Liverpool’s greatest player of all time and they will fold if he doesn’t sign, jeeez!
Decent player but not even in top 15 (probably even push out to 20) of Liverpool greats.

The Premier League really is a crap spectacle. How often is there really anything much riding on the final day now? There’s the odd year but mostly things are all wrapped up. You look up and down the EFL and NL and there will be so much excitement and tension at both ends of the tables.

Sadly, it's what you get when the field is so uneven financially.

Looks like it could be the first season since 16/17 where the 17th placed club finishes the season with 40+ points. Promoted clubs are going to need someone in the Prem to drop a bollock.
