Lol spurs useless tossers. Might be able to laugh at our expense of being relegated but we can go down, come back up and still have won more than them in the last 10 years or so lol.

Brentford, Palace, West Ham and Chelsea. Over to you, boys.

Let Lee Anderson FC hate London more than, well, a Reform voter.

Would happily lose the other 4 games if we could just get a result at Forest.

That would make the season a bit better.

Find it remarkable that Postecoglou is going to survive this based on knocking out Frankfurt (a team they have probably 1.5 times the wage budget of). 18 defeats with 5 games to go. I'd expect a Crystal Palace manager to lose his job based on that.

This entire Europa League run is going to keep a drastically underperforming manager in the job for the season, with Tottenham losing the final isn't it? Would be extremely on brand.

They've been drawn against the only team they'd realistically beat over two legs, and that'll most likely save him.

Unless Bilbao liberally fist Spurs in the final, which is very possible at San Mames.

I sincerely hope so. The guy is an absolute fraud.

I'm willing to sacrifice his last couple of games of this league season which is a dead rubber if it means they go out of a European Semi final to Bodo/Glimt though. That would be generational.

We’ve won more trophies in the last 9 years than they have in the last quarter of a century. Their last league title was closer to the reign of QUEEN VICTORIA than it is to present day.

We will literally win another major trophy again before Tottenham.

The league intends to adopt a new squad cost ratio (SCR) approach to spending controls, which would limit clubs to spending a set percentage of their income on player-related costs.

With this set to be introduced in 26-27 if we do go up will it be even harder to survive?

This years promoted sides will be the last to benefit from the older rules.

Guess if we went up our revenue would be bigger than quite a few PL clubs if we managed to get beyond that first season lol

Looking at their remaining fixtures I’d say there is a good chance that spurs and Man Utd could finish 16th and 17th.

Just highlights the strength of the league bar the promoted teams. I can see one of next years new boys beating Derbys record at this rate

I think it shows how awful spurs and man utd are.

I can't believe Coutinho is still a Villa player. Their wage bill must be absolutely monstrous. Can't imagine VDG are paying much of his wages!

PSR definitely needs to be reworked. It's ridiculous that under the current regulations, it's better to sell an academy product for £15m than it is to sell off a duffer in his 30s for £20m because of book value and amortisation.

Surely, going forward, any promoted side will be able to include their expected TV income, or they really will have to spend nothing.

Don't amortise deals,  problem solved.

It's only bad because we try and game the system like most and mistakes come back and bite you hard.

PSR is fine. English clubs overspending on dross is the issue.

The only thing I don't like is that some clubs have been allowed to get round the rules. Chelsea being the main culprits. Although I hope this comes back to bite them down the line.

That being said, I did just have Google and apparently amortisation is the standard and expected. That's pretty crap if that's the case.

Still, dropping wages for average players down to 30-40k a week would be a huge start
