We have the money to buy the players, but FFP is not allowing for it. I think the shift to lower expectations in transfer fees from clubs outside the EPL will have to start happening at the end of this transfer window. What I'm querying is the inevitable fee we're going to be slapped for. Nanasi and Gronbaek have delivered just as much, if not more than El Khannouss so far in their respective leagues and Europe and gone for half what Bilal will cost.
