 Info

is correct. Bilal El Khannouss has a personal agreement with Leicester City about a four-year contract. He will report to RC Genk in the coming days with an opening bid. Genk wants the main prize. See so

a refreshing change that we are checking that the player actually wants to join first

Hate to be party pooper but he looks s**t in that video does he not? Slow but able at times but at a horrific standard.

Hope I'm proved wrong of course.

I’ve just watched 3 YouTube videos and he looks well average. Never heard of him before mind.

El Khannouss personally agrees with Leicester City, Genk asks for top price

Bilal El Khannouss can continue his career in the Premier League. The 20-year-old midfielder of Racing Genk is the subject of strong interest from Leicester City.

It looks like Bilal El Khannouss (20) will get his dream transfer. English Leicester City has reached an agreement with the Moroccan international on a multi-year contract and now has to try to reach an agreement with Genk. The Limburgers want to cooperate in a departure, but do want the top price for their playmaker.

El Khannouss has been the subject of interest from Leverkusen and RB Leipzig in recent months, but this interest did not result in a concrete offer for various reasons. For example, Leverkusen kept German international Florian Wirtz on board, while Red Bull opted for Antonio Nusa to replace Dani Olmo.

In the background, several Premier League clubs, including West Ham United and Brentford, had meanwhile expressed their interest to the Brussels Moroccan's entourage. El Khannouss, who is still contracted to Genk until mid-2027, had the freedom to negotiate with clubs and eventually reached an agreement on a four-year contract with Leicester. That now has to be reached with Genk. It is expected that 'The Foxes' will report to Genk with an opening bid this weekend.

El Khannouss played 94 official matches for Racing. He scored 4 goals and provided 14 assists. In 2023, he was elected Promise of the Year. The technician played 14 times for the Moroccan national team. At the Olympic Games, he won bronze with his country. (BFA)

This is like Soule and Hlozek rolled into one.

Terms agreed with player.

Deal to be structured with Genk.

We drag our feet.

Other team(s) becomes interested.

Saga goes on for a few days.

Player 'prefers' other team.

We still drag our feet.

We turn our deal into a loan with obligation if we avoid relegation

We pursue deal with terms agreed with Genk.

Deal hijacked by another club.

Rudkin out.

Scouting report on him

His ambidextrous feet allow him to manipulate opponents into think he is going into a certain direction before a quick drop off the shoulder and exploding the opposite way. Not very often you come across players that are just as proficient with their ‘weaker’ foot but El Khannouss is.
