I think he just meant you can't back off a player there, purely because he's didn't then reference how good he is a shooting from distance, or that he'll punish you etc.

My takeaways from the half 

Faes has clearly thought "**** it I'm going into midfield 

Ricardo looks rusty, as expected 

Mavididi hasn't been great 

The Wilf as an attacking mid experiment needs to be put to rest 

Jordan Ayew can strike a ball 

Skipp never stops moving, always looking to collect the ball, been very tidy 

Forgot Mcateer was even playing
